How will my games get determined?
For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Ticket Member. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:
In Person Draft
New partner will participate in an In Person Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. If a partner cannot attend a date, efforts shall be made to ensure partners picks are fairly selected (for example, ability to call in selection, or the option to send another person to make picks). Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

Are these still available? When do you hold the draft?
-
Yes, still available. Really great seats with nice folks on each side. To be fair to you, I'll give you the long answer so there won't be any surprises about how we have been doing things for 18 years. We will hold the draft the week of March 18 with the exact day to be set in the first week of March. Right now we have two 40% members (me and another person) and a 20%. Therefore, there are presently five 20% positions--each 40% is two 20s. You would be one of the 20% people, so you would pick in the top five, the second five, etc--your picking position would be a function of your number, so that if you are number 3, you would pick third and then again 8th and so forth. Currently, then, each of the remaining 20% interests picks a number (between 2-5). We then draft "up and down" so that, having gone first, my #1 slot doesn't pick again until 10--probably the best position is 2 and 3, but that's the luck of the draw. As the person who does all the administering and fund advancing, I go first and then 10th, etc. I hope that's not too complicated, Michelle. While I'd love to keep this 20%, it doesn't make sense, since we spend our summers away from the City. We will not require you to purchase your share of the charter license at this time, but if this relationship becomes permanent, we'll have to talk about that--we'll treat you as a season-long visitor and see how things work out. BTW, I just take the total cost of the tickets and parking and divide by the number of games (usually 83 or 84) and that gives me a cost-per-ticket; I multiply that by the number of games each person has, which usually varies by 1. I don't kill brain cells trying to match the various costs assigned by the Giants to each ticket. I'll look forward to hearing from you. Barry
